§ 1 General provisions

  1. The data controller is Catalyst Industrial sp. z o.o., based at Zimna 1, 65-707 Zielona Gora, Poland, NIP: 9291866707, KRS: 0000540893. You can contact Catalyst Industrial sp. z o.o. in writing at the address above, or by e-mail at: contact@catalystindustrial.eu.
  2. Pursuant to Art. 37 GDPR, Catalyst Industrial sp. z o.o. has not appointed a Data Protection Officer.
  3. This document explains what information and data we collect, for what purpose, and how it is used. This data matters to us, so please read this document carefully, as it sets out the rules and methods of processing and protecting personal data. This document also sets out the rules for the use of Cookies.
  4. We comply with personal data protection rules and applicable legal regulations, including the Polish Personal Data Protection Act and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR).
  5. Upon request from a data subject, we provide comprehensive information on how we use their personal data. We always clearly inform about the data we collect, how we use it, what purposes it serves, to whom it is disclosed, what protections apply when it is shared with other entities, and which institutions to contact in case of doubts.

§ 2 Privacy principles

  1. We respect your privacy and want to guarantee a comfortable experience when using our services.
  2. We value the trust you place in us by entrusting us with your personal data. We always use personal data honestly, only to the extent necessary to provide our services.
  3. As a user, you have the right to obtain full and clear information about how we use your personal data and for what purposes it is necessary.
  4. Should any doubts arise about how we use your personal data, we will promptly take action to clarify and resolve them.
  5. We take all reasonable steps to protect your data against improper or uncontrolled use.
  6. The legal basis for processing your personal data is:
    • a)the data subject has given consent to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
    • b)processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party, or to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
    • c)processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
    • f)processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
  7. Your personal data related to entering into and performing a contract will be processed for the duration of that contract, and for a period no longer than required by law, including the Polish Civil Code and Accounting Act, i.e. no longer than 10 years from the end of the calendar year in which the last contract was performed.
  8. Your personal data processed for the purpose of entering into and performing future contracts will be processed until an objection is raised.
  9. You have the right to: access your personal data and obtain a copy of it; rectify inaccurate data; request erasure of data ("right to be forgotten") in cases provided for in Art. 17 GDPR; request restriction of processing in cases indicated in Art. 18 GDPR; object to processing in cases indicated in Art. 21 GDPR; and data portability for data processed by automated means.
  10. If you believe your personal data is being processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Polish Data Protection Authority - Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, Warsaw). If you need further information or wish to exercise your rights, please contact us at the address indicated in § 1.
  11. We comply with all applicable data protection laws and regulations and will cooperate with data protection authorities and competent law enforcement authorities.

§ 3 Scope and purpose of collecting personal data

  1. We process necessary personal data solely for the purpose of responding to inquiries received and for accounting purposes.
  2. We collect, process and store the following user data:
    • full name,
    • e-mail address,
    • other personal data voluntarily provided to us (e.g. the content of a message sent via the contact form).
  3. Providing the above data is entirely voluntary, but necessary to respond to the inquiry sent.
  4. We may transfer personal data to servers located outside your country of residence, or to affiliated entities and third parties based in other countries, including countries within the EEA, for the purpose of processing personal data on our behalf, in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
  5. Your data may be accessed by entities providing services necessary to run our website, i.e.:
    • hosting providers, providing hosting or related services for the Controller,
    • service and IT support companies performing maintenance or responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure.

§ 4 Cookies

  1. Our website currently does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.
  2. If we introduce cookies in the future (e.g. for statistical purposes), we will inform you in an updated version of this Privacy Policy and, where required by law, request your consent.
  3. Regardless of this site's content, your browser may store cookies originating from other websites you visit. You can manage your browser's cookie settings yourself - detailed instructions are available for: Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Edge, Safari.

§ 5 Rights and obligations

  1. We have the right, and in cases specified by law also the obligation, to disclose selected or all information concerning personal data to public authorities or third parties who request it under applicable Polish law.
  2. The user has the right to:
    • →access personal data - the right to obtain access to your personal data, exercised upon request to the Controller;
    • →rectify personal data - the right to request prompt rectification of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data;
    • →erase personal data - the right to request prompt erasure of personal data. The Controller reserves the right to withhold fulfillment of an erasure request to protect its legitimate interest (e.g. when data was obtained through correspondence and its retention is necessary to resolve the matter);
    • →restrict processing - in cases indicated in Art. 18 GDPR, including contesting the accuracy of personal data;
    • →data portability - obtaining personal data concerning the user from the Controller in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format;
    • →object to processing - of personal data in cases specified in Art. 21 GDPR;
    • →lodge a complaint - with the supervisory authority responsible for personal data protection.
